Our experience as clinicians at the coalface of mental health risk and safety, has shown us that well researched tools and evidence are not enough. Client specific understanding created through advanced assessment skills, enables the tools we use and the research we follow, to create opportunities for growth whilst reducing risk of harmful outcomes.

In the two half day sessions you will learn:

  • Assessment of both short-term and long-term risk of suicide, self-harm and violence

  • How to enhance safety and effectively manage risk of harm concerns

  • Integrate internationally recognised Risk Management Principles with practice

  • Use an effective framework to guide your risk and safety work

  • Promote better well-being and mental health outcomes through effective care planning
